CIBT to Present at ACBSP Conference in Chicago

Toby Chu, President and CEO of CIBT School of Business & Technology Corp., will be a keynote speaker at the annual conference of the Association of Collegiate Business Schools and Programs ('ACBSP') to be held from June 16th ¡V 19th, 2006 at the Marriott Hotel in Chicago, IL. He will be speaking about business opportunities for U.S. based education providers to establish a presence in China.

The Association of Collegiate Business Schools and Programs ( ACBSP ) is the leading specialized accreditation association for business education. Founded in 1988, ACBSP was created by its members to fulfill a need for specialized accreditation by institutions of higher education with business schools and programs.

In June 2005, ACBSP approved a new strategic plan with a new mission and vision statements. In addition, the seven regions were expanded and now require the provinces and territories of Canada. As of April 2006, ACBSP membership required 403 educational institutions as members, 297 of which have successfully achieved accreditation. In addition membership requires twelve corporations and thirteen emeritus. Nearly 4,600 persons at these entities are individual members and receive benefits of membership.
